Douglas Adams is the best when it comes to describe characters

they need to teach classes on Douglas Adams analogies okay
“He leant tensely against the corridor wall and frowned like a man trying to unbend a corkscrew by telekinesis.”
"Stones, then rocks, then boulders which pranced past him like clumsy puppies, only much, much bigger, much, much harder and heavier, and almost infinitely more likely to kill you if they fell on you.”
"He gazed keenly into the distance and looked as if he would quite like the wind to blow his hair back dramatically at that point, but the wind was busy fooling around with some leaves a little way off.”
"It looked only partly like a spaceship with guidance fins, rocket engines and escape hatches and so on, and a great deal like a small upended Italian bistro.”
"If it was an emotion, it was a totally emotionless one. It was hatred, implacable hatred. It was cold, not like ice is cold, but like a wall is cold. It was impersonal, not as a randomly flung fist in a crowd is impersonal, but like a computer-issued parking summons is impersonal. And it was deadly - again, not like a bullet or a knife is deadly, but like a brick wall across a motorway is deadly.”

And, of course: "The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don’t."

the one that will always stay with me is “Arthur Dent was grappling with his consciousness the way one grapples with a lost bar of soap in the bath,” i feel like that was the first time i really understood what you could do with words.

You still alive mr bucket? I mean, when it comes to art.

I ah… I’ve been meaning to draw a few things from time to time, but I can’t seem to get much out on paper. Perhaps I need a muse.

Either way, while I have been rather inactive art-wise… And many other wises as well, I’m still not considering myself out of it yet! I will update later on, I promise.

Did you just portrait yourself as a shogun or something? It's a very samurai-like look you drew there, governor.
Anonymous

Er, no, not intentionally at least. I just tried drawing how I perceive myself without the bucket for once. It’s not a thing I’m not too fond of doing, I prefer hearing others opinions on how they view me.
The other closest thing to do would to take a photo of myself, and I’m not very likely to do that.
Partially because of how my only camera is the one in the 3DS which is not a very high-quality one, but also partially because I feel incredibly narcissistic and uncomfortable about the idea of taking pictures of myself.

Though I wouldn’t mind looking like a samurai.

I thought Harry was a nick for Harold.
Why doesn’t anyone talk about Harold Potter?

A friend of mine tend to change my skype nickname. He changed it to Microscopic Governor once, and I’ve loved it ever since.

I finally figured out how to get a hold of the things I draw on Miiverse, so here’s the highlights.

I wonder when Godzilla-senpai is finally going to notice Mothra-chan

The cs2 programs date back only a few years, and still have much of the functionality of today’s more modern ones. The differences between most of the versions are little more than slight modifications or additions of minor features, and UI changes. Go for it guys!!
Also, in case the page is down, here are the download links + serials.

So it turns out that the bucket turns one year old today!I really wanted to draw something new and special for today, but I really seem to have hit my limit. I can’t draw anything at all without everything feeling incredibly wrong in some way.People have been telling me for over a month that all I have to do is just do it, but it never really feels that easy. It’s been a long time since I drew something I felt proud of, or even got out of a sketching phase.
I just wanted to give you my really poor excuse for why I haven’t uploaded anything in a while, give ya’lls a heads-up, you know.
Thank all of you for this entire year, it’s been great. I’ll be damned if I let it end here though. Let’s look forward to future projects being uploaded into the bucket!
Also, I figured this is a time as good as any to actually do it, but you remember that picture from new years I drew for the Pokeddexy challenge? I said I’d put the .psd up for download at some point.Well, here it is!
It’s a 15mb download, direct link to download the .psd straight to whatever your download folder is. All pokemon have its own layer that it is fully drawn and coloured on, so there’s that in case you’d figure to do something with it.
That got kinda long. Sorry about that.Once again, thanks for this great year!

FIASCOZONE #1 (download)

Welcome to the very first issue of the FIASCOZONE, a monthly comic that features a rotating collection of stories. For our first, we have BENNY, a comic about a sheep imbued with the appearance and abilities of a goat!

With a collection of rotating stories, you’ll often see something new here! But in case you like a story, that doesn’t mean it goes away forever in favor of the next one: it’ll come back in a few months or so! That way content always stays fresh, and you get to see a variety of different stories!

You can also download the whole issue to your computer by clicking the “Download” link at the top of this post!

I hope you’ve enjoyed the first issue, and hope to see you back next month! Thank you!

—Ahmad

ALRIGHT SO this is the thing I’ve been working on for the past month or so! Fiascozone is something I wanted to attempt for a while; my problem with comics is that I love doing them, but I tend to get easily bored with ideas. So I figured, why not alternate ideas every month? That way I have fun and you all get fresh content!

Please, give it a read, follow, and reblog! Get the word out there, I’d really appreciate it!

If I may ask for a moment of your time, I’d like to direct your attention to this.

Alright, I’ve got a new drive in the computer now. Only sitting on 128 gigs now, but that’s enough for the games I play if I’m conservative with the space. I’ve already reinstalled the tablet software and will redownload Krita in a moment, so back to digital before I even drew anything on plain paper. So no pictures of me holding up pictures, thank god for that eh.
